We are three studens from Holland.

For school we have a project for developing a stand up help.

The problem is that we are stopt by a problem.
The problem are the forces up.

The stand up help needs to be suitable for elderly.
For this we need more forces up than down, the only thing is that elderly are not verry strong.

Do you guys have any idea how we can tackle this problem?

The Ekso device - so named because it resembles an exoskeleton - helps the wearer walk of their own accord, by picking up small upper body movements and translating them into strides.

Amanda Boxtel, who was paralysed from the waist down in a 1992 skiing accident, demonstrated the 'bionic legs' on Friday for the first time in Europe, at the London International Technology Show.

She described the technology as "life changing".

The project was originally funded by the American military interested in giving soldiers superhuman strength and ability on the battlefield, said Eythor Bender, chief executive officer of Ekso Bionics, based in Berkeley, California.

There are different companies that make these types of things.
