    Hi there,

At the moment I'm working on a project which involves the use of an air or pneumatic cylinder as a spring. I need an adjustable spring rate that changes over the pressure inside.

I determined a formula for this, but I'm not completely sure if this is correct.

I hoped some of you might be able to check this out or correct me if I'm wrong.

    Thanks in advance!

P.S. Sorry for the link, but I was not able to add an image or past my formulas.
