I have big interests in both physics and chemistry and I have seperate ideas of research I can do some that involve physics with no chemistry and some that involve chemistry with no physics and some that use both sciences. Can I find a career where I can study chemistry and physics sometimes seperately and other times interdisciplinary?

It really depends how far you want to get into physics and chemistry, but there are many fields that combine both. Three I can quickly think of are:
Astronomy: rich in both relativistic and Newtonian physics as well as inorganic chemistry.
Meteorology: Newtonian physics and inorganic chemistry.
Physical Oceanography: Newtonian physics and inorganic chemistry.

Suggest, for starters, you look at undergraduate Baccalaureate requirements, specifically the physics and chemistry requirements. Many science fields have interdisciplinary niches as well.

You also can double major, or pick up a minor in one or the other.
