Thread: String perdicts different different laws of physic

for different universes in the multiverse.


This is something i heard over npr. What i want to know is something more limited. Can string theory really describe "all" the laws of nature within our own universe? Can it for example explain the postulates that einstein use to build it s own special theory of relativity? My own thinking is that it is impossible.

Your assumption is not correct....Einstien said general theory of relativiey which is applicable to any where in the univerce...there is no more than univerces ....we have only one univerce....he explained indetaild abt his ........Theory of Relativity.........

So there could be only one initial order in the universe? Then tell me how it looked exactly.

Point is, there is nothing saying that it started in a certain order. It could've started in any order, and based on the universe order today, it must've started in one order. That whispers of different possibilities, and hence different universes in what we call the multiverse.

There was not hundred % chance that it became only like this. Who chose this, GOD?

I am working with the assuption that you did not read the fine print hard enough.

Yes. But then all reference systems must see the photon :-D But noone can that, so naturally, there is no universe. Sorry, sorry i mean multiverse. Only kidding.

If we changed the law to: if you run away from a photon that is going to hit you in the eye, it is going to hit you in the same speed no matter how fast you run.

Can you eloberate on what you mean? I am not sure how the postulated could be explain by a particle interpretation.
