"Feynman's Lectures on Physics - Volumes I, II, III"
What can I say? Just truly brilliant books - highly recommend for anybody studying physics at university (degree) level, as I am currently.
Also, "University Physics by Young and Freedman" is an excellent (and very hefty!) book for undergraduate physics.

Landmark lectures (1909) by discoverer of quantum theory present revolutionary developments occasioned by application of quantum hypothesis to blackbody radiation. Also, how statistical mechanics transformed understanding of chemical physics; principle of least action, theory of relativity.
