why is electron excitation through external solenoid electromagnetic flux not pratical in the forming of lasers? I have seen articles where UV lasers can be produced but there is very litle info on this. I have also read articles where flux was used to focus laser density into the centre of the gas which is producing the laser and subsequently increasing the efficency of laser production but again there was litle info on this. Feel free to get technical!

The reason I can't make a sensible reply is because quite frankly I don't know what you're talking about . My "expertise" would be more geophysical, especially around seismology, so if you have a question about earthquakes I might just be able to help.

Totally understandable.... Maybe I should expand the conversation a litle so it might include various expertise.

How to produce electron "whiplash" by creating alternating magnetic waves in a homogenous gas. Model created through RK equations 1st, 2nd virial coefficients and LJ potentials. Can you create light withought creating too much heat(can you get an electron to jump orbits without pulling the whole atom with it). Is todays transistors capable of switching fast enough(I mean if you need to switch at 10^15 to get visible light then you are a flash tube anyway duh) if 10^12 is not sufficient absorbtion frequency to create a higher frequency(frequency multyplying by factors of 10^6 highly unlikely) then it's useless. Could anyone see the possibilty of alternating solenoids and creating densitys and cavitations which when collapsed would create light. All that assuming no electron flow; close the circuit, can you create current flow through Krypton at reasonable energy levels.......I'm not looking for answers just thoughts although again details would be appreciated. And no Bilco I'm not gonna burn a hole through my moms kitchen table, I have lived on my own for some time now......I'll burn a hole through my own thank you very much.
