    In the Standard Model, the Higgs particle is a boson, a type of particle that allows multiple identical particles to exist in the same place in the same quantum state. It has no spin, electric charge, or colour charge. It is also very unstable, decaying into other particles almost immediately. Some extensions of the Standard Model predict the existence of more than one kind of Higgs boson.

    July 4th 2012, the discovery of a previously unknown boson of mass between 125–127 GeV/c2, whose behaviour so far has been "consistent with" a Higgs boson. Proof of the Higgs field (by observing the associated particle), and evidence of its properties, is likely to greatly affect human understanding of the universe, validate the final unconfirmed part of the Standard Model as essentially correct, indicate which of several current particle physics theories are more likely correct, and open up "new" physics beyond current theories. If the Higgs boson were shown not to exist, other alternative sources for the Higgs mechanism would need to be considered.

    I want to discuss what these "new" physics beyond current theories could be, because I'm thinking of anti-physics.

    I am not a physicist, so I will do my best trying to theorize one of these new possibilities, such as anti-physics, as a hypothetical.

    The equation of the absense of mass, in direct correlation to the specific value of physical mass, like saying +100lbs of physical matter also has an anti-physical -100lb value. I would speculate that this would suggest physical matter does not actually occupy space at all, but is within it. So when matter is formed in space, space volume increases by a factor of the matters mass. This I think could also further explain gravity.

    Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Nice copy-and-paste job from Wikipedia. Note though that it is general custom to provide references for such citations.

    I want to discuss what these "new" physics beyond current theories could be, because I'm thinking of anti-physics.
    That would be any additions to the Standard Model which are required to explain certain processes that are not predicted by the current theory, e.g. neutrino mass. Also, it would include quantum gravity, i.e. the unification of the Standard Model with General Relativity.
    Nothing to do with "anti-physics" though.

    So when matter is formed in space, space volume increases by a factor of the matters mass.
    That is not what the field equations of GR tell us.
