ELF waves have giant waveleangth and almost not absorbed by environment.
For example what would be penetrating ability of ELF magnetic component at
1 Hz? ELF radiation of relatively small electric devices is not completely negligable.
For example ELF radiation magnetic field of motor in your washing machine is
mesured in nanoteslas and it could be done with handheld metter purchased
anywhere.What if we will make a transmitter which consists of billions tiny nanoantennas
which of them transmitts at 1 Hz with nanosecond delay from each other? Would we be
able to communicate freely accross the globe? Even thought power of such ELF waves
would be extremely small if they are absolutely anabsorbed by environment they still
could be detected with some hypesensetive magnetic antennas?
