what does the exhaust sound pulses refer for a exhaust pipe? is it as per no of strokes per minute or less than that?

all depends on the exhaust system, straight pipes transmitt each pluse , muffled one don't
It's the wavelength to the collector.
A vacuum is created which draws intake fuel/air mix, both into, and down the extractor. This increases the effective cubic capacity off the engine. The engine idles with a put....put..put....put sound which is each pulse of a vacuum going down the extractors and creating a vacuum in the cylinder. Some of each intake fuel/air draw goes down the exhaust, which creates a greater intake pulse.
Look at an engine and compare the size of the piston/bore as opposed to the extractor diameter/length?
Most of the intake fuel/air mix goes down the exhaust which creates a vacuum on the intake side?
One engineer builds the F1 extractors, at a cost of $80,000 a set. They are translucent at 18,000rpm.
You can see through metal? this is harmonics. Paper thin metal
