Lets say the rotation was 100 times faster, would we feel lighter or something?

At 100 times the present rotation rate, everything not nailed down within 14 degrees of the poles would be flung into space.

We are moving about 400 m/s on the surface...

    100 times this is 40,000 m/s

    V^2/r centripetal acceleration

    ((40 000 (m / s))^2) / radius of Earth = 250.858406 m /s2

    Force of gravity
    9.8 m / S^2

The accelerations are not exactly opposed but I do believe that this would destroy the earth before you could be flung off it.
