Wiki is always a good place to start and, if English is not your primary language, they may have the article in your own language:

Doppler effect - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Doppler effect (or Doppler shift), named after Austrian physicist Christian Doppler who proposed it in 1842 in Prague, is the change in frequency of a wave for an observer moving relative to the source of the wave.
(Maybe a moderator can correct the thread title.)

    Hi Piismyname. Welcome.

Instead of just asking for a physics lesson, can you tell us a bit about what you understand and what you are having trouble with? This is a discussion forum after all.

Apologies if my above answer seemed snotty. It was not intended as such. I assumed that you had already tried an internet search and failed because of the misspelling. Then I wanted to let you know I was assuming you would do the internet search, in case you were waiting for a further answer.
