    hello
    (my english is maybe horribly bad... please don't judge me for that)
    but OK, i've got a question;
    when a beam falls on a mirror
    it looks like the source is behind the mirror.
    can someone explain me how it comes that it looks like that?

    This picture shows what's happening with a lens: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Lens3b.svg. Reflection works the same way, only the rays bounce off the mirror instead of bend through the lens. (I couldn't find a good picture of this right now.)
