    Hi,
i was just wondering how can you measure the density of a billiard/ pool ball?
    would you use a micrometer?
any assistance would be greatly appreciated,
    thanks!

Divide the mass of the ball by it's volume.
To find it's volume, you can drop it into a cylinder of water and measure how the water rises. By multiplying the rise in the water by the surface area, you have the volume of water displaced, and that equals the volume of the billiard ball.
Then, perform the calculation described in sentence one.

Historical note: This idea is attributed to Archimedes, supposedly running through the streets naked shouting "Eureka", after getting the idea when taking a bath.
