    Hi,

I'm quite interested in string theory but unfortunately, I'm studying physics at a university where this aspect of physics is not teached, at all. I came to the idea I should go with an Erasmus Programme (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erasmus_Programme) in a few years to a university that actually teaches this and is quite infamous for it.

Only problem, I know some literature about it but all authors are from MIT and other USA universities whereas I can only get to European countries with Erasmus.

So here's the question :P Does anyone know where I can find a link which European universities are into String Theory?

i couldn't find a "list of european universities teaching string theory" however, a quick search revealed who the participants were in the recent european workshop on string theory, and it included the colleges they each went to. logic suggests these fine institutes should have what you're looking for: http://www.phys.ethz.ch/~swood/strin...rticipants.php

    physics: accurate, objective, boring
chemistry: accurate if physics is accurate, slightly subjective, you can blow stuff up
biology: accurate if chemistry is accurate, somewhat subjective, fascinating
religion: accurate if people are always right, highly subjective, bewildering
