    VP=vapor pressure
    FPD=Freezing point depression
    BPE=Boiling point elevation

    VP is related to FPD and BDE.
    Firstly,we should know the definition of vapor pressure.
    What is the definition of VP?

    Definition of VP:
    Vapor pressure or equilibrium vapor pressure are the pressure of a vapor in
    thermodynamic equilibrium with its condensed phases in a closed bottle
    From Wikipedia

    When the VP of liquid state of a substances M= Vp of solid state of the substances M,
    the liquid freeze...
    i am very confused....why liquid freeze when the VP of liquid state of M=VP of solid state of M....
    Let us discuss... :wink:
