    Forum,

Just the other day, some guys tried to sell my parent's some "EMF" polarizer's while telling them about the harmful effects of EMF Radiation emitted by many household appliances. I saw a few of their demonstration's and had a very strong gut feeling that they were trying to sell "Snake Oil". Here is there company site...

    http://www.bewisepolarize.com/company%20profile.htm

For any of you who are savvy at physics and human physiology, I was wondering if there is in fact any truth to what they say. Are their facts legit? Are any of their products worth it? I've have browsed through their site and found some pretty weird stuff...a necklace that's supposed to stop EMF Radiation sounds...somewhat farfetched to me. Furthermore, if they are selling snake oil, I don't want anyone else I know to fall for this ploy.

    Thank you,
    Jay

You'd have to escape the universe to escape EMR. Every biological organism copes with exposure to it quite well.

As long as your parents don't live too close to power lines or cell phone towers, they're pretty safe. It's the intense stuff you need to worry about, not so much everyday sources. Especially super intense sources like lasers, but I bet your parents don't play with lasers. It's also best to avoid exposure to high energy stuff, like it's not good to have an X-ray everyday.

In a word, it's all "bullshit."

I don't know what you can do. Maybe you can ask the better business bureau to investigate. But since that idiot who "wrote" the "Natural Cures: 'They' don't want you to know about" is now a billionaire, I'm thinking we're screwed. Americans trust these idiots more than they trust real scientists, so unfortunately science speaking out against it will do nothing. Probably the easiest route is to not let the public demonize and misrepresent science as much as they readily do.

Good luck. I have to watch my parents too.

All I can say is that if you want to protect youreself from EMF, you must wrap yourself into a shield... definitely not just wearing some wrist device, or placing it somewhere in the house.
