    Hello fellow science lovers,
Can any of you answer the following q-tions,

Which will break easier a full glass wine bottle or an empty one, and why ?
Does the pressure inside the glass wine bottle influence the breakabillity of the glass ?

    Have fun

Hmm, do you mean if you hit the glass against something, if you change the temp or if you vacuum its environment?

A sealed bottle is more difficult to break than an unsealed one. The pressure inside makes it more difficult, but by no means impossible.

Whether it's full or not is a bit moot, but if you're just dropping it additional mass in a full bottle will provide more force to break the glass.

It depends on whether they are both sealed, that can make a slight difference

Well i know you can easily shatter a full bottle by smacking it on the bottom smartly with the palm of your hand so... Full is my answer because of the lack of compressability of wine. (water)
