Since BCS and cooper pairs don't explain it, How is it explained?

If you go here http://www.google.com/ and type in "high temperature superconductivity" you get this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-te...superconductor

How does the cooper pair theory of phonon exchang explain the vortex state?

How can there be a transition from superconducting to normal state with increase in magnetic field strength?
