    I developed a definition for non-square determinants. The definition follows from my definition for the larger than 3D vector product.

    The vector product follows (with a bit of creativity) from the determinant expansion of the 3D vector product. The result is not the wedge product followed by Hodge contraction nor the 7D octonian cross product nor the product of n-1 vectors in a square determinant in nD.

    The vector product does satisfy most of the ordinary properties including the requirements for Lie Algebras. Why it is not predicted by theory in general I do not know.
