I wasn't sure where this thread should go so philosophy sounded just about right to me...

Anyways, what I want to talk about is dream interpretation.
The idea came to me after I reckoned a really weird dream that I
had about 3 months ago which I remembered it coz of its weirdness and I
would like ya mateys to help me interpretate it.

I'm not sure that I belive in this stuff but it worked in teh torah so what the heck... better know then dont...

*Note that I only recall the end of this dream*
Anyhow; I reckon dreaming about me and some of my mateys from junior
school that I don't talk to them much nowadays.. We were in a muddy pit
which was also a house(without a roof... :? ) there was tv, couch and some hously stuff there and we some of us played in playstation(or some other console on tv)... and for some reason when I was going from the
livingroom to the sleeping place(there were like 2-3 double sotries beds there) I stumbeled upon a small tv in the middle and me saw there an
old crone telling "these will put barriers to the blind..." while showing me some hair picks(like the ones that u lockpick with), and then she away
a big weird(toothless?) smile... and I woke up....

This was one of my weirdest dreamz evar!
I mean... I had the rush to go and speak to eh gypsy so she can tell me
what it's all about... but I didn't do that as I'm not that kind of person...
and where would I find a gypsy anyways...

Know that I had this dream about 2-3 weeks after I started to use hair pins as me hair was a mess and it what kept it be in place for like 2 secs..
then it would go to be messy again... I never maneged to handle those things :x

plzzzz if you have any suggestions about why this happened then tell me...
I'm asking this because I know that dreams have some connection to ur
life and I dun wanna stumble blind people... :?

btw, since we are on the topic, maybe you could help me with other issiue
    with my dreams...
Very often my dreams contain battles(just today i had a gunfight in my
dream against some arabi people... i was left woithout ammo and some
english dude helped me with a clip... was really awkward as I couldnt get
the bullets that he gave me in the clip and they were all demaged... :? )
    anyways, in those battles I usually find myself with tottaly rubbish weapons;
as most of those fights are with melee I manege to find myself fighting
with weird shyt weapons like plastic knife or springy 1/4 inch wide swords
and useless shyt like that that tottaly wont kill my persuers(although they do
leave very deep wounds, but no matter how I cut 'em, they take ALOT of time
    to perish....)

plz help me to enchance my arsenal cos this shyt is tottaly rediculous... :?

    Thanks in advance,
    tony :-D

P.S. If you had any weird dreamz like this please post them too as dream interpretation is fun

    Good Brother

Trust me, I have had weirder dreams than any of you could ever imagine.

BTW, is it bad that I could instantly read your thread title?

Sure about that? Can you describe all your dreams?

No...some deal with things that do not exist outside the realm of my mind.

And even though I can understand the entities, to explain them would be hard and if I could, it would still not make any sense.

.....ok, one of my recurring dreams puts me floating in space, looking down upon hundreds of rotating cylinders. Each cylinder is very quickly folding onto itself through various very complex origami like techniques. These cylinders then create a sort of light that encompass the entire area and ends my dream.

Man... Don't your dreams have storyline?? hehe

For example today I had an extreme dream about 1st me being an explorer
looking for "gold" for my ""tribe"" which was actually a big lump of honey
but my people considered it as gold; I was a small kid and just before
I took the already cut by me lump of honey I fell into a trap and died
and then my vision transported to the tribe leaders which came there
to help to get the lump of honey,

There were also evul priest like people there and I transported once again
to a body of an older adventurer.
Then somehow (I think) that ive gotten the lump of honey but then it
didnt matter that much because me and the older tribe leader were in some
different dimention big room without roof(was like a biiig mall without a roof) with
many teleportation gates there with riddely signs above them which describe
      the contents of the room...

But I hadn't time to ponder and yorn as I was chased by 4-5 weird alien
chitahs (somehow they weren't as fast as real chitahs, just a little bit faster then me)...

Anyhows, I was forced to jumnp into the gates and jump immedeatly out
as every one of those gates had different kind of eXtreme danger there...

Lastly I was pinned down as the nearby gates were closed by some kind of boulders so I somehow outran the chitahs to an elivated arching moving stairs(flat stairs, not the stair looking ones)...

One of the sides were going forward and one was going backward and there
was another moving one(smaller then the other two) in the middle that wasn't moving at all...

By now there were like 2 chitahs that maneged to climb with me on the
moving "stairs"(they were looking like real big bob-cats by now, but still
dangerous), so I had pretty easy time evading them as they were
      going to and fro...

Eventually I ended in a terminal and 2 chitahs(bob-cats??) caught up with me...
I decided that I had enough with that crap so I had an eXtremely loud
roar which shutted them up and left them puzzeled...

I immedeatly rushed to nearby kitchen like room with a payphone where
my contact(i had a contact?? :? ) guided me to the phone and there was
like the weridest thing in the dream... she was like the matrix chick in
matrix and was saying the same thing as in tha matrix movie about me
being transported thru the phone... and then I woke up... :?

      W3333111rd....... :? :? :?

btw, I reckon this dream so gr8ly as I just woke up :P

P.S. for some reason I never get recurring dreamz... Although I do want to...
      P.S.S.
BTW, is it bad that I could instantly read your thread title?

Yeh, I can identify with that. I remember my dreams very rarely, and then one in every ten or so of those I do remember are the ones that defy description. They don't even contain recognizable objects, only "concepts" of sorts. Like I am steering my mind through a concept-maze or something, trying to think in just the right way so that I can survive/succeed. :?

      Maybe.

Likely the weirdest dream of all......I was at the top of an almost infinitely long slide shrouded in mist. There was someone next to me, and they nodded as if telling me to go down. So I jumped on and soon realized that I could not breath; I kept falling and falling until I saw the end. I had not breathed for so long that I thought I was going to suffocate, until I finally reached the end and fell off into nothingness. I then woke up and realized that I was not in fact breathing and finally started to breath again.

Why I was not breathing I have no idea; maybe the dream somehow induced it?

I always have messed up dreams. Like people trying to murder me, or things hunting me, or sometimes the other way round. I also have the 'falling dream' sometimes, and have woken myself up before...when I hit the ground I put my arms out to brace myself (instinctively)...except I did it in real life too, pushed myself away from the bed, and woke up thinking...'Waht the hell just happened.'

I think I watch too mny films before I go to sleep

I never seem to be having this "falling" dreams that everyone
exept me seems to be having... :?

For some reason all my dreams seem to have a storyline, even when
I realise that I'm dreaming I still have some sort of weird storyline(when this
happens weirdly enough I can't do super stuffs as I be god or something like
      that... :? shame, shame...)

But at least 2/7(or 1.5/7) of my dreams I dun recall them after I wake up...

Aww and also, as me being an eXtreme sleeper when I get the chance
(no school days) I usually sleep at night... wake at 10am-ish... go back to
sleep and wake at 1pm-ish.... and the 10am dream i dun recall but the shorter 1pm dream I do recall......................................... why's that??

I know what you're saying about the storyline hanuka. My dreams always have a story (I think 'journey' is a better word) to them. It's like memories of places and people who you know/have known all merge together into one long jouney. But it's always clouded too..

Like for instance you can dreanm that you're in your house, and you walk into your bathroom, except when you open the door, you find yourself in your school, or somewhere random like that.

I'm also positive I've had 'preminitions' before....I'll have dreamed of a place, and then maybe a few months later, I'll go to the place (Having never been there before), and recognise it...thinking 'I've been here before'....I'm generally not one to believe in future forsight, and weird paranormal-like things like that, but it feels so real.

I rarely dream of falling, and never of flying, but often of bounding... in slow motion... as though I'm a baby and some unseen adult scooped me up to land me in a high chair across the room.

Have you ever had the same dream every day for 5 days?

It feels really weird and scary!

Sometimes the same dream is reoccurred though a different point of view but the actions are still the same. I once had a dream of some place I have never been to yet I dream about it periodically like once a month.

Yeh I have that, but not on consecutive days....dreaming of somewhere you have never been before, and then a month later dreaming of that same place again.

I used to have a dream when I was young about being chased by a dark shadow

He would be catching up on me when I'd suddenly find I could fly and i would think phew i got away from him!

But then I would look behind and he would be flying too.

Another dream I had that used to scare me was a shadow standing on the opposite platform whilst a rushing train was passing between us, so I couldn't see who he was but there was a definite sinister evil feeling about this person.

I had these dreams from a very young age til my teens and then they stopped

      Weird huh!

Well when i read some Jung he used to go on about the shadow side to our natures and the ego and the id and all that.

Well maybe this thing was my shadow and i used to run away from it, but then when these dreams stopped when I was a teenager, maybe it's because I went off the rails a bit and embraced the darker side to myself?

      That's what I think anyway.

No more booze, fags or pogo-ing to the Sex Pistols for me for a while!

Just have to watch scary films and read scary books from now on.

Not many things make my guts turn, but the worst film I ever saw was Hostel. Yikes. Didn't watch the second one.
