Suppose that there is E.T. life aware of our existance that prevent us from discovering them by for example making our sonds send the wrong data to the earth or sending false information to our telescopes.

A logical-positivist philosopher would say that such an idea is “meaningless” because it cannot be verified in principle.

And why should they do such a thing??

Just like with the alien abductees. Why the heck should someone travel Billions and billions of mile just to shove a probe up their buts. Yeah, right! A civilization capable of traveling such distances in reasonable time would shure as hell have diagnostic methods that do not involve poking our orifices with stone-age tools.
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by

Though Popper would say it is faslifiable, no? Just find one.

Ergo, it could be considered a scientific hypothesis.

After watching a movie which was meant to be based on a real story of an abduction of some American farming family i started to ask myself the same question, why would an advanced civilization travel so many lightyears to probe us and what not, now im not saying i beleive they do i was just bored and started to think of a logical reason for it and i kinda came up with an answer, lets say there are 1,000 - 10,000 of Inteligent Civilizations out there (There is meant to be an equation for it but i can't re-call it from the top of my head) some Advanced and they have been around for many millenia and some just coming into there being (just learning how to think and use basic tools) now lets say with the Billions of stars out there they could find a planet system much like ours but has been around for longer or the civilization has been around alot longer than ours so the Evolutionary patch was much like the one on our planet (not exactly but some what similar e.g. they evolved from some form of primate or mammal like that) from them it would be like looking to the past of the evolution and its behaviour.

Kinda like Jane Goodall getting intimate with her chimps?

(and I know studying chimpanzees isn't "like looking to the past" - in case anybody wants to leap screeching upon that)

Suppose we blame mischievous demons, for the gremlins, who made the aliens do it. It, being the girl's disappearance, inexplicable pregnancy, and mysterious abortion.
