Words, language, french... I can't stand them.
I always have been arguing with someone about the definition of words, but I now realize something. Words define something that can take place in our universe: actions, values, places, things; But why can a word be wrong?
As I thought about this, every person has a unique language, his own, which is (in his region/land) similar to his neigbours own language.

So why do we argue with eachother if we are talking in different languages? the meaning is always correct, because it is the meaning for the person is always the same.
If I would say that Pizza is a car which in I could drive, this would be correct but wouldt be the same pizza that you are thinking about (a round italian dough covered with tomato sauce and other delicious foods)

If you don't know a language then more often than not most the words are meaningless and their is no confusion due to total lack of understanding. Other times words have been known to congregate to form a context in which these type of singular pizza/car misunderstandings become apparent. Also have you tried pointing to something as you say the word, or reenacting an action, eg. turn an imaginary steering wheel as you say "car", then again I can see how one might mistake this action for spinning a pizza dough. If all else fails just give the person a blank, vacant look, he/she will probably just give up after a while and no harm is done. Better yet just smile and nod, you're sure to make many friends in this manner.

Or, you can employ the British technique: just keep speaking in English, but shout louder. :-D

Yes and anyone that struggles to understand you is automatically inferior, simple and stupid. :x

what does my absolute nut in.....

is when people understand what you said YET still feel the need to correct the way you said it.

For me the purpose of communicating with each other is to convey and relay information about something,

So if the communication method you use is successful and the person you are in dialogue with clearly understands, why then the need to quibble about a minor language error that did not in anyway hinder understanding.

Example:

Tyra Banks - supermodel chat show host interviews wanabee model.

The wanabee says : 'I have a good head on my shoulder.'

*she omitted the 's' on the end of shoulder.*

Tyra immediately wasted valuable oxygen and time from her own life to inform her:

'don't you mean shoulders'.

There is a time and place for addresssing the speech of others. There is no need at all when two adults are in dialogue for one to interrupt the flow of chat to point out an error of such insignificance.

words are flawed. Thats why I usually just puke on people I don't like and hug people I like, Can't be misunderstod.
