    Good day.
    My name is Jordan.
I have a belief that the meaning of life (as it relies on Libertarian Free Will) is adjusting circumstances in your life to better fit or suit happiness.
This, of course, does not imply that life is purely hedonistic.
    Thoughts?

You seem to be saying there is one meaning to (an individual's?) life.

Might there not be many strands, many purposes?

In my book "the meaning of life" is a hollow phrase but people do ask the question when they are at a low ebb or without a clear direction and we may all be there at some stage probably.

i think you are referring to the human life form, not life in general? Two entirely different things IMHO. Correct? Over the years here I've found it helps immensely to define whatever it is you're asking about, it is a science forum. Cheers

All that belongs to human understanding, in this deep ignorance and obscurity, is to be skeptical, or at least cautious; and not to admit of any hypothesis, whatsoever; much less, of any which is supported by no appearance of probability...Hume

"Libertarian Free Will" No idea what that means. But if you mean "free will" as many people seem to, that our conscious minds think though and the choice between available decisions--the science is very clear--we don't. We only become consciously aware of choices that our subconscious mind brings forth and in probably all cases our conscious mind doesn't do the deciding.

As for "meaning," the only tangible seems hardwired into our us to survive and reproduce. Boring and simple. Of course, our genetics and experiences lead many of us to form independent meanings...even occasionally counterproductive to our instinctive ones.
