    ... is worth life.

So why do people seek more meaning than that, greed? Stop being greedy. With every breath you have, you are able to observe your surroundings. Touch a wall and look around you to perceive the progress of time. With every breath, life.

Im drunk, so im probably making a fool out of my self. But this sounds good to me right now so ill write it down.

Alcohol will make me depressed when the good is over, but that is yin-yang. The bad gives the good meaning, the good gives the bad meaning. Like a pendulum swinging, good and bad marks time. Time and change means we are alive because our senses can observe these things. When im depressed im not, because i realize it is just chemicals in my brain causing it. I dont believe in god. But im not depressed, because i know im priviliged to draw breath none the less. Even if all is all is nothingness. When i hear sounds, touch something, taste something, smell something or see something - both bad or good. I Thrive with happiness of them both. Because it means i am self aware. Since we came into life with nothing, all we have, even our pain, is a treasury. Because we are self aware, while the rock is not. The rock will not feel pain or joy ever. Better to swing between suffering and happiness than being frozen.

When im sad it is a gift, because i am self aware.
When i am happy its a gift because i am self aware.

    I think, therefore i am. - Descartes
Death does not exist, because when i am - death is not. And when death is, i am not. - Epicurus

These quotes i love. I always thought Descartes`s quote was ridicolous, but it is life which is ridicolous. And us, particulary me at the moment.

To conclude 15 years of wondering about the meaning of life, without cliches like "You have to create the purpose for yourself" and "There is none" i think the best answer is, that being self aware of reality is the greatest gift and meaning of them all. I dont care about god, or the world, or death... what i care about is the fact that i can touch a rock and feel its presence. I feel rich when i lay my eyes on my surrounding, i feel rich when i smell, taste, hear and touch. When i die i will be poor not because i lost my earthly possessions and riches - or even my body, but because i can no longer breathe. Because i can no longer sense the world.

    Disclaimers are good.

I wouldn't be so tough on rocks. Aren't you composed of inanimate matter? Does knowing this make me a rock aware of my self?

All that belongs to human understanding, in this deep ignorance and obscurity, is to be skeptical, or at least cautious; and not to admit of any hypothesis, whatsoever; much less, of any which is supported by no appearance of probability...Hume
