Not sure how this will be received. Its just a "Life philosophy" code i live by myself. And id like to hear some criticism. Here goes:

The idea is to trivialize all negative aspects of life. Having an extreme nihilistic attitude towards destructive, negative and bad things that happens to you. But on the other hand you TRULY ENJOY and appreciate the good things in life! Every second of it.

For example if a doctor say you have cancer then you react this way normally:

Positive side of it is: "None" to "Atleast every minute counts now"

Negative side is: "oh my god im gonna die!" Depression, sadness etc.

    With my philosophy:

Positive side: Now i will enjoy every single second alive! Ill do what i never had time to before with the time i have left! etc

Negative side: We are all gonna die anyway, whatever.

I hope its easy to spot the point. You have a defeatist, futile and nihilistic attitude to the point of complete concious ignorance to all negative events and bad stuff. The worst that can happen is that you die right? And even then its a good side - you may know what comes next if anything! Even death is a good thing.

You trivialize bad aspects but WORSHIP good aspects of life. If anything good happens remind yourself of it and enjoy each second. See the positive in EVERYTHING in life.

Basicly you apply EXTREME PESSIMISM to the negative and EXTREME OPTIMISM to the positive. This way you become a person that enjoy life but at the same time acknowledge that you can die any moment and that you came into life with nothing and left with nothing anyway and you just enjoy the time inbetween.

Many of you probably say "hey i think that way" but allthough many think they do they dont. Can you honestly say that if you were diagnosed with cancer you wouldnt care? Im pretty sure i can.

I hope i have defined it as good as i can. Id like some criticism on why this could be a good and/or bad philosophy to live by.

Again, you remove all value from negative aspects, and try to see the positive in the negative. And you add value to positive aspects only and focus on them.

If anything negative is at the table apply "Life is meaningless anyway" and such thoughts.

You have to remember that the body will doubt your pessimistic attitude to the negative. You have to have a truely convincing pessimistic attitude to the negative that you yourself believe in. That's why you would win on publishing the negative here for us to trivialize. I for one likes to trivialize such things.

The same thing about the optimistic attitude to the positive.
