Ok, anyone heard of the invention machine? (the one referred to in popular mechanics(~2008 maybe), anyway, the machine would get rid of models that were innefficient to the specs. Say the antenna, the specs were that there had to be an increase in reception. The computer would "give birth" to similar versions, and the inefficient ones would be eliminated. Perhaps the only reason humans have conflict is that others are percieved as inefficient, or detrimental to their own efficiency(the efficiency in this case being any goal, small or great, obvious or not (these being the specs our mind comes up with)). So all human conflict is just a conflict in efficiency, and depending on how much inneficiency there is, or how much efficiency is impeded, causes conflict to arise. Efficiency also possibly leads to evolution...
