For thousands of years we have all been conditioned by the education system, even by reality itself, to honor the repeating cycles of nature, from day to night, the lunar months, the seasons, the years. It's like a repeating code, a repeating sequence, a machine we all live in. I know it sounds simple, but we all take for granted that we livre in some type of automation. To then go in search of a theory of all things, the answer to space-time, given ALL that conditioning we accept, that earth-bound conditioning, how do we get our minds around that one. Should we accept that we need to be more theoretical and less earth bound in our search for a theory of all things. I myself, I don't know. My question is, "how do scientists deal with the automation, the centuries of learnt automation, they live in".

Is this a joke? It is the regularity of the universe, the reproducibility of all measurements, that form the underlying principles of all science. From this repetition we are able to deduce the fundamental laws of the universe.

Your question suggests that regularity gets in the way of thought. Sorry. It is the key to discovering the truth.

    I agree with you entirely.

Still, DO WE LIVE IN A MACHINE?

My further point is that if we do live in a great clock, and that it DOESN;T get in the way of our thoughts, are not our thoughts ASSOCIATED to that clockwork.

CLOCKWORK THINKING is what I offer at my website. I have a theory, 5MB download pdf, that basically states our thinking runs on a repeating stream of consciousness sequence that conforms with the forces of the universe, that our perception obviously ADAPTS to reality to be AWARE of reality as we perceive it.

    Now I get it.

Your postulate may be absolutely correct but I have little interest in such debates. I am now heading for the door so the philosophers can take over. Good luck, my friend.

You wouldn't find a theory of al things I'm afraid. And I don't think we
do live in a machine, not any type of.

I could sometimes imagine it's the matrix we do live in, which but will
nothing alter to situations we are facing till this truth was revealed.
