I had long suspected (For 25 years) that the line of apes that gave rise to man evolved in Europe. The distribution of European apes would have been controlled by climate changes. (The ape population was found as far north as Paris.)

My suggestion was that while most of the other apes were driven south to Africa by a cooling climate, the line that gave rise to humans, stayed longer. I picked out Hungary as the possible place as it acts as a natural fertile corral, surrounded by mountains with an entry from north western Europe and a exit to the south.

It was here, I suggest, where the fat beneath the skin developed (often posed as evidence for an aquatic ancestry) and also the special arrangement of arteries and viens in the limbs that conserve heat. ( this arrangement is found in the flukes of whales and the legs of artic foxes.)

As the cooling of Europe pushed the apes further south, and then eased, the fat layer became a handicap as far as temperature control was concerned but endowed the apes with an energy store, if food became scarce. Their thick coat would have thinned out, and the sweat glands massively increased to adapt to the increasing temperatures as they went further south and entered Africa.

Our evolutionary history endowed us with adaptations that helped us to thrive in many differents environments, and with the advent of clothing, allowed the our species to exploit environments throughout the world.

The article found at the site below seems to back my theory:

NGM Blog Central - A European Ancestor to African Great Apes and Humans? - National Geographic Magazine - NGM.com

The last ice-age fully started about 110,000 years ago. The genus Homo was already established by about 2.4 million years ago, and the evolution lead to the genus was already well underway prior to that.

I have corrected the wording of my message as I used the phrase "ice age" too loosely.

In the greek old scriptures they say that cretes (those living in the island of crete) had yellow hair. So they are white, how can this be, seeng that crete is very close to africa? How can black beengs become white when it is ive been told impossible? Why on earth would black people want to stay in colder and less food giving natures?

Crete is a Greek island and the Greeks are European not African. Not all Greeks have black hair, and if the first Greeks to colonize the island had lighter hair, then this could have given rise to a "yellow" haired group.

Crete is not that cold, but the Neanderthals migrated to northern Europe where the winters were cruel. Human beings tend to go to places where there is food and no competition.

That makes no sense. There are plenty of people living close to Africa who are not black Africans.

Evolution. Who told you it was impossible?

Why on earth would black people want to stay in colder and less food giving natures?
Who says they are "less food giving"? Some of them might have migrated out of Africa searching for food - perhaps because of famine or climate change. Or they may have been fleeing warfare or religious persecution or disease or ... who knows. Or they maye have just been the adventurous type. We will probably never know.

It's not impossible, when 'blacks' originally migrated from Africa into the colder Eurasian North, they became 'white' as an adaptation to lesser ammounts of sun radiation in these climate zones. The differences in skin pigmentation is only split by around 100.000 years, biologically speaking very little time. In eg. the Southern states of the US, after a certain number of generations, both the white and black populations will become 'brown' due to the ammount of sun in that climate zone and they'll be impossible to distinguish from one another; even in a scenario where people don't interbreed (which is highly unlikely).
"The suppression of uncomfortable ideas may be common in religion or in politics, but it is not the path to knowledge, and there's no place for it in the endeavor of science. (History) shows us clearly that accepted and conventional ideas are often wrong, and that fundamental insights can arise from the most unexpected sources."
    - Carl Sagan, 1980
