Dark energy is responsible for the expansion of the universe, working against gravity. Negative energy was created at the same time as positive energy was, making the creation of positive energy possible. Since negative energy is the opposite of positive energy, there must be a force the opposite of gravity pushing negative energy apart. This force is pushing the universe apart, concluding that negative energy and dark energy are the same thing.

Oh please, don't make things up. Talking about "negative" and "positive" energy in a naive fashion does not result in anything. It is just a game with words. In this context, it does not make any sense. What kind of energy should be responsible for the attractive propertiy? Gravity is explained by General Relativity in which it is a geometrical property of space. So, "negative" energy has nothing to do with Dark Energy. Nobody knows what it is.

And the idea of negative energy being indicative of something going "backward in time" is also quite speculative. First, it has nothing to do with gravity at all. Second, the famous Dirac postulate interprets the negative solution of an equation of energy as antimatter. In this way, the positron was predicted. In the context of Feynman graphs, an electron is indistinguishable from a positron going backward in time and vice versa. Remember that the Feynman graphs are just a representation of equations.

I think there is such a thing as positive and negitive energy. i also think you bring up a good point. the only thing is; could you put your original post into better context. i am very interested in this topic and would love to discuss itt with you but i need to know what kind of positive and negetive energy your talking about.
(if you are unsure on what i mean- or think i do not grasp your meaning [i asure you i do] then pls do ont be afraid to PM me. I will, of course, not put you down for any of your ideas.)
