Unbelievable finds. We're all in a tizzy in Canada because we recently exhibited the largest known T-Rex fossil ever found, in Saskatchewan province. Discovered 20 years ago, just took this long to remove the sandstone. These fossils in China are amazing. Trying to imagine just how rare the conditions must have been to produce them. China must be ranked #1 for fossil hunting (just guessing).
Probably true right now, but this article might interest you.
BBC - Oxfordshire's greatest dinosaur discoveries
The first dinosaur was discovered in the small village of Stonesfield in Oxfordshire which is a place I've walked through a few times. All you see now is a rock outcrop, a stream and an information board. Much more can be found in the Natural History museum in Oxford. In the same building is the Pitt Rivers museum of anthropology. Together they form one of my favourite places.
