    i was going to put this in engineering forum

    so why do we Americans only? build wooden stages in summer for outdoor concerts ?

    the ancient Greeks /Romans would settle on a spot ,build an amphitheater and the things are still there 3000 years later

    so why are we so stupid?

    For one thing the fair most likely doesnt have the right terrain for an amphitheater
