I've heard rumours of a weapon that uses a sequence of intense waves in a outbound circular radius that causes a massive heat to alloys.

Matter can be heated from intense frequency bands on a molecular level. I guess a weapon that could produce this would be called High Frequency Invision Cannon?

Has anyone ever explained the difference between the things in your head and the real world before?

Hardly a precise weapon, it would affect not only the firer but also cause much collateral damage.

    Frequency bands? Frequency of what?

Why would it be called "invison"? What does vision have to do with it?
Likewise it could hardly be called a "cannon" since you claim that it's non-directional.
