    Am making a film and website about a year in the life of scientists, and thought this engineer's method for storing compressed air looked interesting.

    Work done to compress the air must reduce the power output from the turbine. It looks like a good way to store some energy, but the total production would be less than a conventional turbine. Still, if output can be matched to demand it might be worth doing.
