Thread: Will safety be a concern in the NASA's mission to moon?

What are the new technologies that have been worked towards achieving the mission to moon? What plans has been outlayed to tackle problem of meteors impact etc in space ? On a whole, will safety be a big concern for NASA to accomplish their planned mission to moon?
