    Simply, would it be possible to create an alloy of titanium and iridium that would be usefull in construction? Or am I completely round the bend?

    useful for what? and you need to find the phase diagram for this combo

    And now to astound with my lack of knowledge on the subject.... What is a phase diagram? I was toying with the idea of using it to make blades if it is feasible...or even possible my knowledge of engineering is limited. I was a combat engineer in the US army and learned how to blow things up when I went EOD.
