Hi people, I'm very interested in knowing if there is a material, or can be made one, with such characteristics: while being exposed continuously to a light(sun), it gradually becomes brighter; after there's no more exposure to the light, it gradually gets back to normal. The brightness is not too strong, just a white light visible from a bit distant. To be more specific, I'm imagining 3d words made of this material getting exposed to the sun and start shining gradually.
I'm not finding this information anywhere!

    Thanks in advance.

Is the quality you are looking for different than phosphorescence?

It probably would use phosphorescence but I was looking for something that would shine in daylight too, not too strong but more visible than common phosphorescence. Would that be achievable?
