    Hi everyone,

I'm wondering if anybody has an awareness of some of the current frontline technologies that are less known in the wider community so far. Ideally something that is a little controversial, which may have environmental and/or social impacts. Any ideas?

    Thanks!!

I heard there are homing artillery bullet made by US military. Now imagine a bullet that can correct its trajectory in flight! I saw this in "Weaponology".

I found that hard to believe, but it is true.

"Kinetic energy interceptor" is a different weapon. It is not a "homing artillery bullet" because the homing bullet has fins, has no rocket propulsion, and is guided by GPS. It is small and can be fired by a tank gun (but "Kinetic energy interceptor" is fired from a missile).

    See DaS Energy,
New hydro turbine technology uses (100% recycling) CO2 in place of a dam wall to pressurise water, at -10*C is equal to a vertical dam wall of 90 meters and at 80*C its 100,000 meters. A one litre turbine spinning at 60 RPM produces -10*C 720 watts, and at +80*C its 720KW. Earlier version published at same time NASA publication using CO2- R744 which now is much in use however low heat power generation is being fought all the way in Australia though China and India jumped at it.
