all i remember is the one crash and , they decided to scrap it?
why ... planes falll from the sky all the time( well not all the time, but there has been at least one,,and more im sure) so why not decide air travel is bad!

I think they decided it was not economical to continue flying it. Not enough folks wanted to pay the big bucks to shave a few hours off transit time.
The sonic boom was the biggest problem, since no one wanted these things booming over their houses, so few airports would accept them.
