A piezoelectric paint is a composite material, it can be easily made by mixing PZT ceramic powders and an epoxy resin solution with appropriate fractions, the mixture is used to make piezoelectric transducers for many purposes such as health monitoring of structures. I am working with this material and my issue is the following:
what is the approximate shelf life of the mixture? i would really appreciate if someone give me an answer, i am thinking to save the mixture in bottles and use it whenever i want, but i have no idea about how much time this mixture can wait before being used.

    Thank you

Indefinitely if you agitate it periodically

Manually agitation or.......? i have no idea about what is happening in the molecular scale during the shelf life? it will be great then if a periodic manual agitation is enough..

    thank you for the answer

depends on the carrier, purely solvent based systems like lacquer or enamel will last a long time, polymeric systems like urethane or epoxy are less s table to storage.
