Dear Science Forum, I'd be very grateful if someone named a soft-cover book that will prime me enough in calculus to understand an article in Nature entitled "Nonlinear Optics in the Fractional Quantum Hall Regime." I've only completed the Math-50 course, but I've written hundreds of pages in ANSI C89 of implementations of PRNG's, root finders, graph searchers, vectors/trees/maps, etc. so I'm hoping for a very small book basically just mapping the Greek to programming concepts.![]()
