    By using the mean value therom prove that |sinx-siny|< or = |x-y| for all x and y.

    Is this homework?

    Im feeling generous so here is a hint, apply the mean value theorem to the function f(t) = sin(t)


    As is often the case with technical subjects we are presented with an unfortunate choice: an explanation that is accurate but incomprehensible, or comprehensible but wrong.
