    mmm, just learnt something new today - there is a formula to extract the n'th hexadecimal digit of pi without calculating the rest of the numbers!

    Wasnt there a movie about that idea a while back?


    As is often the case with technical subjects we are presented with an unfortunate choice: an explanation that is accurate but incomprehensible, or comprehensible but wrong.

    Yep thats the one
