all right i think i have a method to compress info:

take an agreed infinite number like pi:

you express it in a square matrix of 10*10(or a trillionx atrillion)

    so you have 100 digits

and i express a number like position 7 vertical 4 horizontal to the right

so there are 100 digits and 4 senses so i can actually chose from 100 digits strings^4 senses by the notation 99left on average

this is exactly the bible secret messages code

    edit:

i think the bible code use a variant of expresing a 10*10 matrix in a 9x11 or 5*20

    edit

and what if you build a i million dimensional matrix in a tiny space you would have a huge amount of random info

How does this compare with existing compression algorithms such as run-length encoding or Lempel-Ziv?

this is exactly the bible secret messages code
    There's no such thing.

Ummm, I am reasonably sure that the numerical value of is greater than 3 and less than 4. How does this make it an "infinite number". In fact, I am not sure what is meant by an infinite number.

Sorry, but I could not bring myself to read any further

well you get un undefined amount of decimalls of pi

here you can find one million

http://www.eveandersson.com/pi/digits/1000000 you express the number 123456 as the position it appears on pi

if you dont get and advantage in size by expresing it this way you can use other agreed irrational number this way

if you go far enough in an irrational number you could find any string of info

That may very well be true for some irrational numbers, but it has not been proven that every irrational number has this property. For example, number theorists are racing to prove that pi has this property, but it's been stubbornly resistant.

... You mean irrational. Not "infinite".

We've dealt with this irrational thing several times before. Get your terminology right, because it seems to be confusing and frustrating other members of this forum.

Wait, wait, wait ... Hold up. I've been polite, but this is just.....

    1) First, you have to prove that Pi is normal. I see no proof.

    2) If Pi does hold this amazing (yet unproven) property, then of course you can find anything in it, even the Bible. Amazing, but not unexpected. And that does not add credibility to any of it. It would add just as much credibility to the Qur'an, which you could find right next to it.

And you think you've found something special with "Bible Code"?

    1) The Bible was not written in English. It would be nonsense to take the code to a completely different alphabetical, numerical, and grammar system. You might as well do it in Pig Latin, to be honest.

    2) The word "Bible" doesn't exist in the Bible itself. And even more pointless, since as I stated above, it's in a different language anyway.

oh i believe the bible code system would work as well for mobydick

is a matter of get a pseudorandom long enough secuence and search info on it

seems if you are not an scientist you got to be a creationist, grey anyone?

    yeah well my idea:

express the trillion decimal strin of shakespeare work in the position it appears on pi

if you dont save space with pi you try square root of two and so on till you save space

the only reason casue NOW that is not posible is for computers not being powerfull enough

luxtpm: I gave a fair warning. I am closing this thread, with my apologies to those who attempted to straighten out this shite.

Further instances of ignoring moderator's imprecations may have serious consequences i.e. a suspension or ban - think about it

well i discuss it as i see it

i dont understand why a number being normal it implies you dont find certains strings in it

i verify myself you find the strings you should according to chance in the million digits of pi
