# Thread: Decimal expansion form of this fraction?

1. This might seem pointless, but can someone provide the decimal expansion representation for this number?

2.

3. Why not type 10/13717421 into a calculator. Or even google.

It is approximately 7.29x10-7

4. I know the approximation. But I'm curious to see the decimal form of 's inverse. I know... pointless.

5. Okay, forget the decimal expansion form... I'm good with the fraction form .

But, it's interesting that their LCD is 15,241,578,887,364,731 and to yield it must be divided by 1,234,567,900,987,654,321.

So if then .

6. hi , I am unable to understood this question .Please explain solution of this .Thanks

Hi. I was trying to see the decimal expansion form of 10 divided by 13,717,421. Decimal expansion is just writing out in decimal form. Instead of saying , which is fraction form, we write out .

For some reason, I suspect an apparent connection between the numbers involved in the fraction and the numbers involved in the exact ratio. But I don't care anymore, fractions are more interesting anyway.
