1. Hi i would like to know whether i am going in the right direction in solving this problem.

Question: To produce a batch of electronic components involve a fixed cost of \$600. Labour and material amount to \$2 per component.

(i) Write the linear equation to represent the total production cost Y, in terms of the number of components produced.
(ii) Represent the equation by drawing a graph assuming any 5 values for X.
(iii) Use the graph to find the number of components produced if the total cost is \$1500.

So answering the first question 2x + 600 = Y (is this correct )
