I have never taken a course in probability. My teacher recommended me the book

Henk Tijms, Understanding Probability, second edition, Cambridge University Press, 2007.

The book was recommended as an excellent introductory text that brings the basic ideas and concepts of probability in a very clear way using examples and problems from everyday life. Does anyone has read this book? Could you share me ideas about the book? Thanks
