    Hi

Flowers can be created using the equation r=1-sin(nx) where 'n' is any integer value. if a graph of such equation were to be polar plotted then it would produce a flower where 'n' decides the number of petals on the flower in the graph

But to what extent is this useful in reality?
How can this equation be used in reality to produce a flower?

    please help!

    thank you

Flowers use differential equations, not polar equations.
