    y = 30x^2 − 11x + 1


    This problem is making me go insane because i haven't done quadratic formula in like 3 years.

    I got the answer -11Radical15 over 3



    please help me solve this im reading this text book and it doesn't explain it and its been so long Ive forgotten all of this simple math BS

    i forgot to say the part that bothers me there is supposed to be 2 answers

    a smaller value for x=
    and a larger value x=

    im not sure which one

    also how do you guys input the equations is it an add-on to the browser?

    You have probably just forgotten the formula. It goes like this: where a is the quotient in front of the squared x, b is the quotient in front of x, and c in free quotient. When you apply the formula you get:

    In one solution there is: which equals or
    In other option you have , which equals or

    As for writing the formulas, you have the TeX function, and you have the TeX tutorial topic on the forum.

    oh damn thanks I realized i put the radical on the entire fraction and then found myself rationalizing the fraction to get rid of the radical lol
