    i was wondering what exactly i will have to know or what is taught in AP calc BC.

    You will learn about limits (this includes continuity), derivatives, integrals, and the applications of derivatives and integrals to various fields of study (including physics, biology, engineering, and economics). Exponential growth and decay may also be covered as well, with an elementary introduction to differential equations (generally solved through either a vector field or the fundamental theorem of calculus; these aren't too sophisticated).

    you will also need to understand series (taylor/mclaurin, sums of infinite series, convergence/divergence, etc...). besides this, the above post pretty much covers it.

    the focus will be on integration. I can almost guarantee that. Calc AB is essentially a first semester college course on calculus, and BC will be the second semester course. The second semester elementary calculus course has a major focus on series, limits, and integration.
