Dear friends I´m studying a Cryptosystem and I have reached a strong obstacle, perhaps you could help me in this question.

Given this sequence of numbers, 8,12,20,24,32,36,44,56,60,.....

Could you please tell me if there is a equation or algorithm capable to generate this sequence of numbers?

    Regards

The sequence merely alternates its common difference per term in cycle fashion. For example, the common difference starts at one, than at the second term increases to two, than after three terms of this pattern increases to three, after four terms it would presumably increase to four, etc.... The previous series was extremely similar except delt with a common ratio, i.e., a geometric series. Also, note that in my previous post I designated the series as one that changes as a multiple of four, however it could similarily be designated by the above series with varying its terms by alternating an addition of four and than eight, i.e.:
